The New Generation Girls and Women Development Initiative (NIGAWD) is a woman-led, non-governmental, not-for-profit Organization based in Nigeria. Established in 2012 and registered with CAC with certificate No CAC/IT/57538.

NIGAWD envisions a society where women are intellectually, economically, politically and socially empowered as positive change drivers.
Mission
As a non-governmental Organization, NIGAWD’s mission is to develop the capacity of young women (girls), through strategic sustainable initiative that will empower them in the areas of Sexual and Reproductive Health, Life building skills, Climate Change and Women, Water and Sanitation, Political Particpation among others to become women of exploit in the society
